Let’s just start by saying that the Messi burger is not worth the try, I couldn’t finish it. The sliders and wings were our favorite. The shrimp is worth the try but was too saucy for me. The cheesecake and brownie were amazing!

Lovely venue, decent food and also not ridiculously priced. The honey and mustard sauce was amazing. Interesting displays dotted around. The only small downside was the music was being played so loud it was difficult to hear anyone speak (yes I know it's 'Hard Rock' Cafe 😂)

Food was very poor. Jumbo combo was a reasonable size but the quality of the food was poor. The wings were cold, spicy hot but no real flavour. The chicken breasts were moist but completely tasteless and the bread crumb was dull. We also ordered Messi burgers, they were nothing special and the chorizo added nothing to the burger. The atmosphere was spoilt by a pub quiz who wants this in a themed pub/resturant? Should be music and videos. We will not be returning.

Was okay, but didn't really have that Hard Rock feel about the place. Felt very similar to a bog standard diner. The staff we're polite enough and helpful. The food was standard, but no different to any other Hard Rock we've visited around the world. Just seems the menu's have become very basic. The atmosphere was fairly flat, again it just felt like we were in average diner. Non the less, that's another one ticked off. Bluelight discount was also accepted on everything, which was a bonus. 15% discount.

A new Hard Rock cafe - as you can see from my reviews we visit these round the world. Very well located down by the Quayside in Newcastle. The restaurant had a lovely light airy feel to it. The staff welcoming were lovely. We only wanted drinks on this occasion and were found some bar stools to sit at the bar. The bar staff were very attentive and helpful. We had a couple of cocktails, relaxed with the music videos playing and took the obligatory photos of the memorabilia around the restaurant. Another great Hard Rock and glass for the collection!

Milly Melling Duo
(expired). Valentines The 'Milly Melling Duo' are here to deliver acoustic versions of your favourite songs from RnB and Pop to Dance and Indie tracks. Milly, lead vocalist, has been performing across the North East for the past 6 years; some venues including Sage Gateshead, Saltwell Park, Riverside Newcastle and a long list of Northumberland's wedding venues. With experience performing in bands, choirs and alongside DJs, Milly is excited to deliver some stripped back dance/rnb anthems to the more eccentric venues/events to really get the crowd going! With over 8 years of experience in the music industry, Bradley Talburn (guitarist) has spent most of his career performing in London venues including 'The Troubadour', 'Aint Nothing But Blues Bar' and 'Venue 229'. Specialising in genres such as Pop, RnB and Neo Soul he provides a unique and interesting feel to accompany the soulful vocals from Milly. The two talents have now combined to form an outstanding duo, perfect for your special event, with the option to tailor the setlist to your preferences.

Daniel Mason
(expired). Restaurant week. I'm a 25 year old singer/songwriter from Gateshead. I've been playing guitar since the age of 6. In 2015 I completed my Grade 8 electric guitar and in 2019 I graduated from Newcastle University with a Bachelor's degree in Music (2:1). I have a wealth of performance experience, first and foremost playing gigs with local rock band Fossway (lead guitarist and vocals), playing venues both local and in other UK cities. In more recent years I have focused more on solo acoustic gigs, of which I now have a fair few under my belt. I love playing music of a variety of genres but have a particular love of playing 60s and 70s rock and pop. When learning new repertoire, I like to put an emphasis on my guitar playing through use of colourful chords and use of hybrid picking techniques. I also love using my looper to stack chord progressions and for solos, most of which are improvised on the night. I also write songs that I like to include in my sets as well. My songwriting influences include Steely Dan, Neil Young, Prefab Sprout, Pink Floyd, Radiohead and many more.
