Most Sundays Jenny and I frequent the Harbour bar for something of a constant in life. Always ask for a lovely bowl of culinary skink. Very Occasionally someone may of beaten us to the last bowl , ah well lives a lottery at the best of times. Always something else that 's good on the menu to go along with my Guinness and Jennys gingerbread and black current. All plesently given.
We loved this bar and restaurant. Great character and a fantastic warm welcome. We didn't eat but stayed for a few drinks, soaking up the atmosphere of a harbour bar with low celings, loads of interesting memorabilia on the walls and lots of nooks and crannies to sit. We spent some time playing dominoes and then came back the next day for a coffee to get out the snow. Definitely one to visit if you are jn the area.
Great atmosphere and very friendly service food average.
Great, very friendly harbourside bar serving a good range of food and drinks inside and out. Dog friendly as well.
Much had changed since I was last here in 2016. Then it was just a white building but now it's had a paint job with nice new fishing boat mural on the gable wall, a walled garden and pergolas put in with tables outside. Still the same oldey worldy little bar at front I remember. Had sausage egg and chips on special and just thinking of how good it was makes me want it again right now! You should visit even if passing through on your travels.
