The Handyman Pub opened in August 2017, keeping the feel of the previous incarnation of Handyman Supermarket. Brew pub with great drink and events as well.

Great little pub. Went for the first time. Excellent selection of beers. My gf loved the rhubarb cider. Dog friendly too which is always good. Will be going again
One of my favourite spots in Liverpool. A great variety of beers and spirits, particular highlights are the rotating sours and the cask IPA. There's a good selection of proper bar snacks as well, available, like the drinks, for a reasonable price. There's a fantastic array of events and live music on here throughout the year and it makes for a great, intimate venue.
A real gem of a place. A former hardware shop, sympathetically converted to a bar with a definite industrial feel and vibe. Front and rear bar, with the rear bar having a huge projector screen ideal for watching sport. Great selection of real ales, with plenty of guest ales on as well, alongside an extensive selection of bottled beers. Table service due to covid restrictions, you order your beer and pay via an easy to navigate app, no fussy download or anything to complete. Staff were great on our visit, making sure we knew the ropes on ordering etc, and very friendly. Toilets clean and well maintained. A cracking venue for a catch up as a group, or to sit by the front window and watch the world pass by. Go you won't be disappointed
Excellent micropub and brewery, based in what was the legendary Handyman's shop that seemed to exist forever or at least 40 years on Smithdown Road. Finely crafted and delicately balanced, self produced real ales, brewed above the bar. Friendly staff. Choice of kegged craft ales if you like that sort of thing. Seating is a bit basic, and the area behind the bar is a bit claustrophobic, but it a relatively new venture. Go visit.
