Came across by accident, while looking to meet somewhere else. Happy we did, very cozy and nice pub with very friendly service. The menu looks nice. They do jazz at valentine's day. There is a fireplace as well. Will come back to try the food.
Diva Night I live in the area so I’ve been in the hand a couple of times in those times i saw a posters for an event called Diva night , I was free on the night so I decided to go with my misses and what a night it was. If it wasn’t known the hand was under new management this night was certainly a mark in the ground that the hand and flower is back to its best if not better With great accommodating staff making exiting cheap cocktails it aloud the night to run smoothly. A lovely division of space with the upstairs being a lively bar setting and the restaurant being turned into an eccentric dance floor me and my lady couldn’t help but dance to the fantastic vocalist showering us punters with classics like rolling on the river A great night which has certainly made me a regular More nights like this please!!
What a great pub! I go often and went on Saturday night as well as there was a Ladies night event and absolutely loved it! The vibe was great, everyone had a fabulous time. They had live music as well which I thought was a very nice touch. Can’t believe I read a negative comment on that night as it was amazing, but I guess some people just don’t appreciate or recognise fun! Will surely be back for food and drinks soon!
Strange, nobody seemed to be eating.. Saturday night. Staff friendly and helpful. Food portions were huge and surprisingly good. I recommend the Chicken Parmigiana! More of a summer pub really, inside rather austere.
The place has been done up beautifully. The service is great and the food is delicious. The little rescue animal sanctuary out the back is just amazing.
