Reopened in July 2014 after major refurbishment and a change of management. Open plan bar with TVs (Sky Sports) and a pool table located at the far end. This family friendly pub is now managed by Mark and Tania Edgell who built up an excellent reputation for quality real ales and home made food during their seven very successful years at the Frog and Wicket in nearby Eversley. 5% loyalty card in place which can be used on food and drink. Sunday lunches are now legendary at the D&P where table bookings are essential. The Dog & Partridge was very recently voted as a runner up in Britain's Best Sunday lunches in the Knorr and Unilever annual awards. Kimbo proper coffee is available all day. The Dog & Partridge was once the home of the Official Monster Raving Loony Party who held their Annual Conference there every year, their Party Leader was the Landlord of the D&P for 10 years (2000 to 2010).
