Cigar Smoker UK

I found that this was the only place for breakfast on a very cold morning in Southampton while waiting for my car to be serviced. I had a laté and the full English breakfast. Although not a massive plate full it was just right and the ingredients were really good quality and well cooked. Service was good but it wasn't that busy either. I haven't stayed here so can't comment on the rooms. Overall the coffee was decent and you it was nice to watch the world go by while eating.

If you are going on a cruise ship this is ideally suited being just a few minutes from the terminal. Lovely rooms good food and in a decent area of Southampton, oh there's some nice beer on tap too. I have already recommended this hotel to dozens of people across the pond and on different cruise YouTube channels. It's far nicer than the bland branded hotels that frequent the town. Theres plenty of areas to find food within 2 minutes too.

Great place to stop for a short stay in Southampton. It is excellent value for money. The White Star Tavern is a vibrant pub in the heart of the lively Oxford Street part of town which offers great restaurant options for the evening. The pub can get quite busy at peak times especially if it a home match for Southampton FC, but step through the guests door and you're met with a very well appointed small hotel section. The rooms are comfortable, well appointed and thoughtfully equipped with excellent attention to detail to ensure your stay is comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was excellent with a wide range of options including vegetarian and buffet as well as full English. Certainly a place we will come back to and use as a base when visiting people in this part of Southampton.

The rooms were very nice. The food was good. We stayed here for two nights prior to a cruise and it was only a 15 walk to the cruise terminal while pulling luggage. You do have to be cautious crossing a couple of roads. Apparently the terminal builders weren't expecting foot traffic because they made no provisions for pedestrians to cross safely.

Stayed here for one night before a cruise and it is just lovely. A great location near lots of things. A helpful staff that made sure we were able to get a cab in the morning. A delicious dinner down in the pub. What more could you ask for? Would highly recommend to anyone.
