Well... we didn't even get to try anything, we walked in, went to take a seat and from the first moment the old woman behind the bar with white hair and glasses gave us the worst look ever. We've got uncomfortable straight away and she wouldn't stop staring at us for a few minutes with a really bad look in her eyes against us. We decided to leave as we didn't feel welcome at all and she was the only member of the staff there so she was going to take our drinks and food so no thanks. Pretty racist for 2023 lady, I'd remind you this is not the England of 1830s. And more than 10% of the UK population are immigrants. I'm not even dark skin, I'm yellowish, wondering how she would treat other people.
Great bar for football pre-drinks, good service and large choice of beverages.
Great place and decent beer.. just watch out for youngsters on mobility scooters if you're playing darts.. just a warning haha
Only been in there once briefly to pick up a friend however the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was overall quite nice and family friendly feeling. Was only in there for a short time so take what i say lightly but my friend is a regular and loves the place.
Nice pub friendly place the Christmas beer was delicious nice.
