Happy New Year to everyone! Amazing time at the Ship inn Lymington. Starting with the warm welcome and continuing with professional service from Steph . What more to wish for. Compliments to the chef for his/her efforts to create dishes that aren’t in the menu. We had a 30 DAY-AGED 10OZ RIB-EYE STEAK- tender and delicious and another level ROASTED CELERIAC STEAK, tasted better than any other vegetable steaks I had all over the world. We highly recommend this restaurant to everyone who loves cosy and warm atmosphere, top level service and most tasteful food. 🔝 💯 Thank you guys for making our New Year time -special. ❤️🥂🎉
Very nice space with great food. Service was also brilliant with a lovely bartender who helped us out and allowed us to try some of the beers before deciding. Great touch. Big loos and plenty of roll May need more regular checks as there were big skidders in the bowl.
We had a great lunch here, late December, Saturday. Did not book ahead but were seated straight away. The atmosphere and decor are nice. The menu is extensive enough so there is something for everyone. It's been a few years since we were last here and the high standards have been maintained. Service by Karen was excellent, friendly and attentive. Dishes ordered were Dirty Burger (with beef dripping sauce, very good), beef and merlot pie, duck and noodle salad, super foods bowl, half rotisserie chickens. All plates cleared and enjoyed. Will be back sooner next time.
Vegan menu is available but I opted for the crab linguine without chorizo. It was very tasty and good value for money. The other meat dishes were also good. Didn't like having to go to the bar to order food and drinks, I prefer table service but I guess that keeps costs down. Dog friendly area available. Nice views over the marina. Well recommended.
We had a Sunday roast at the ship inn at Lymington. It was fantastic!! The food was the best! Jess our waitress made the experience even more enjoyable and cheerful.
