Good spot for lunch, we went when it was quiet. Food was nice but a little limited for vegetarians for a simple lunch. Dog friendly. Easy to find and park.
The Crown Inn, Upton is set in a beautiful Hamlet/location - with ample parking. The food is always delicious. And the cocktails are amazing. The service is always excellent. The menu caters for all; reasonably priced too. Both myself and my husband celebrated our wedding anniversary more recently and couldn't have been more happy. We were made to feel special. Observing other customers also, they were made to feel as equally welcome too. Many people were ordering cocktails, which was very nice to see - the cocktails were exceptional! Thankyou so much to Dave, Theo & Kayleigh and the team. See you again soon.
What a fabulous place!!! We loved everything. The staff were so friendly and engaging. The food was absolutely delicious 🤤 If I lived here I would definitely go every week!
Wow! It's hard to adequately relay how joyful and excellent the quality of food is at The Crown Inn in Upton. Friendly service and a relaxed setting are all fine but the sheer excellence of all the food we enjoyed was a rare and sublime treat. We understand the chef used to work at Manoir de Quatres Saisons and it shows. Vegetables practically danced off the plate and danced in my mouth. I'm already looking forward to a return visit. Cooking at this level is a rarity and it would be rather selfish not to share the joy. Photos hardly do our food justice but here are a few. The Crown Inn, Upton is my new favourite pub restaurant.
An upscale restaurant (not a country pub) with upscale service. Tasty set course - it would have been better if plates had been hot, though. Beautiful location, exterior and interior. Made to feel very welcome from the moment we entered. Alas, I was quite disappointed in conditioning of the 2 real ales I tried (I let server know). Note that service charge of about 12.5% is added automatically to the bill.
