I booked three nights at this Hotel. I needed to stay somewhere as I work at nhs on calls. However my job was cancelled and rebooked for other dates - other 4 nights. I tried to cancel the first three nights- I received a Cancellation Number and a Confirmation Number. The Lady on the Phone, however, told me it was not cancelled is was only noticing me that was cancelled. My question is- how are you not imbarrassed to collect money from Customers for no service, not using the Hotel and asking to come on other days , four days instead of previous three? Why your system misleading people, giving cancellation and Confirmation numbers but then is not cancelled? And why is so difficult to earn money from 4 nights instead of three. All my Colleagues are disappointed now and they will look for another Hotel to stay when needed to work around.
WORST HOTEL EVER. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! Hairs all on loo, sink and bath as well as brown dirty scummy marks. Bed had brown marks on even peoples old milkshakes left in the room… dust and dirt throughout whole room. We also asked for a cot for our daughter and they don’t provide sheets for cot so they expect a mattress that hundreds of babies have slept on without a sheet ? We called asked for it to be recleaned which it wasn’t. We then asked for a new room and the next room is just as dirty hairs in bed all in bathroom, huge hair on the desk chair. same brown dirty scum marks, weird brown something stuck to main room wall. Goodness know what it is. I feel so unclean here and will never be returning to a travelodge again
Run by very friendly and helpful staff. Especially big thanks to Binod who went out of his way to help me fixed the WiFi. Nice atmosphere, great location. I will be going back for sure.
Great location - 5 minute stroll to local amenities. Rooms clean & comfortable. Staff friendly & helpful. Bar available but not open at times stated. Dining in also available. Lift available to rooms. Parking in nearby Morrisons car park - free when registered at the Travelodge
Worst ever service. The bulb was not working and the room stunk. There was not any soap in the toilet. When we hung the sign for top up the room was never topped up. Had to go to reception to get it topped up. The room was not even cleaned. When asked for cleaning they said let the receptionist know. Even informed the reception the room was never cleaned. Then complained again and then they said there was not enough staff to clean and then says there is a policy for not cleaning the room. Firs they promise to clean the room and then says there is policy. When asked for the copy of policy that lady never provided me. I would rate them 0 not even 1.
