My family & I are currently staying in Ash while my own property is being renovated. So, we went to this pub specifically as it shows live sports & my uncle wanted to watch a football match. Managed to get a table right in front of the TV & settled down with a drink and some food. The meal was delicious and very reasonable, & im glad to say this was not just a one-off as we have been back since and have tried other options. I would give the food 6 stars if I could!! However, the only downside I would give is that the bar we stayed in was quite cold, and even though there is an open hearth, there is no fire. This is a shame as I feel a lovely fire would make the pub even more inviting and welcoming, but, even so, still worth a visit and a Hunter's Chicken meal. 🐔

I (sadly) hosted a wake at the Greyhound in December and the whole team made the entire day seamless and as stress free as possible. They catered for 50+ and could accommodate for special requests that we made. We also regularly visit for meals and the service and food is always great. Shout out to Carly and the team on the day of the wake who were amazing.

Today 25.12.23 I had Christmas dinner, we were a family of 5, the food was amazing so tasty big potions, the staff couldn't do enough for us and the atmosphere was lovely. We were treated like family. We have had may meals here which have all been nice. But today felt extra special. We will definitely be booking Christmas dinner here again.

Super friendly staff. Really helpful. Lovely dog friendly pub. Had a pint and chips outside and it was lovely. We'll definitely be back.

This place is wonderful, they were so accommodating to me hiding a surprise 21st birthday in their cellar for the day after. The staff were incredibly friendly and chatty. I could not recommend this place enough for both family meals, or even just going for a quick drink. Booking a table was efficient and easy through an online system. Unfortunately, when we went on a day where their ovens were down (which they kept myself updated on through calling us, and tried their absolute best to make it the best surprise possible) so the menu was limited, however, what we did have was absolutely delicious! For someone who's a very picky eater and gets funny with their meat in particular, the starter of the chicken (and my main of beef pie) were so good, we both enjoyed it! A special shout out to the server who was obsessed with Genshin, we had a good smile as we spoke to each other whilst paying for our bill, and they were all greeting my friend with a happy birthday too.
