Hamilton’s was opened in 2008 to give the Stockbridge locals a bar where the service was relaxed, but informed, great beers and ales and a food menu that changed with the food seasons, supported the local suppliers and delivered quality dishes – cooked to order.

Excellent bistro/pub/restaurant, stopped for Sunday brunch. Great full Scottish with a bloody Mary - hit the spot no nicely! Staff excellent and atmosphere pure Sunday vibe. Would recommend. Price seemed in line with similar venues, so whilst not cheap it's great quality and therefore worth it!
The veg portions were stingy, uncooked and cold. They gave us a replacement which came after we'd eaten our meat pie. Again, dry, cold and uncooked....more than al dente. We asked for a sauce which took ages to come. Finally, the cheesecake was runny. The DID give us a discount. Very disappointing.
Popped in for a wee drink, stayed for a few! Lovely place, decor is gorgeous and so are the staff. All so helpful and well mannered. Can't wait to come back and try food too.
Visited for lunch. Very clean. comfortable seating. Decent selection on the lunch menu. Staff were very welcoming. O had the short rib open sandwich, it was excellent. Great selection of drinks. Highly recommended. Will return when back in the area. Thanks Boss.
It was a cold wet night. Not many folk were about and we enjoyed what we set out for, a quiet candle lit dinner for 2. Our waitress was very kind and helpful and while not the normal busy atmosphere the vibe I caught was of staff who worked hard and try to set a good standard. The food was excellent.
