Held a sales meeting at the venue. Steve, the owner, was very accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. It was a fantastic day. Thank you, Steve!

Well wat can I say first time I went here was for my partners Birthday Meal and all I can say was it was AMAZING so my parents and there friends went there also on our recommendation and again it was AMAZING so I booked a carvery for 20 family and friends for today and all I can say is the staff, owners and the food were amazing and would recommend the halfway house to anyone and all. Will probably be booking Xmas Dinner 2024 there also. Kind regards Christopher Canterbury

Had a meal here on Sunday. We had a carvery. Had to pre order which is normal this time of year. Three meats. Turkey gammon and beef. Beef was very rare that was husband choice. Couldn't cut it. Two others had there meat cooked more in the kitchen but still couldn't cut it. Sprouts and Cauliflower cheese not cooked enough.

Great find, on our way to Cornwall from Suffolk did an overnight at this great hotel and pub. From arrival to departure the staff were friendly and professional making us feel so welcome, they could definitely give lessons to other establishments in the hospitality industry in the value of customers, just brilliant service. Excellent food and chat in the pub which is dog friendly and very people friendly. Ample, secure, free parking and clean spacious accommodation with the added bonus of a lake to walk around. Thank you all so much and hope to visit again soon. Ian, Jacky and Larry the dog.

We stayed in a family room, which was more like a mini chalet. We had our own front door outside, and there was a double bed with shower/bathroom downstairs followed by 2 single beds upstairs. The room was very clean, and the beds were super comfy. There was hardly any noise at night time, which led to a good night's sleep. Breakfast was delicious with a simple menu, but we'll cook. We had our own table each day. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. Lots of free parking and easy to find.
