Brilliant restaurant, loved the food. Homemade lasagna was ummmmm . Carefully cooked with beef and the slice of cheese was melted to the bone.
Me and a friend went for Sunday dinner here, I must admit the food below par, I had roast beef and a poor quality at that. There was more gristle than actual edible meat shame as I had heard mixed reviews unfortunately my review falls on the negative side the stuffing was like a balls of saw dust and had to have a drink as it left my mouth extremely dry. As for the atmosphere it was as expected from gods waiting room and also didn't help the yappie dog they let in. The staff were friendly and helpful enough.
After visiting here a LONG time ago I wasn't expecting too much. I was pleasantly surprised. Our meal was REALLY good and the girls looking after us were very friendly and efficient. All in all a good choice of venue which gained me brownie points with the wife too. Will definitely return again soon. Must add also that it was, in my opinion, very reasonably priced too. *** UPDATE *** Went again today on way home from being somewhere. Nothing wrong with my meal at all. Good food, nice surroundings, friendly staff, reasonable cost. Ticks all the boxes for me.
Had a lovely lasagne ( homemade ) staff are lovely was served by 2 lovely ladies called Hayley and Sue. Toilets are so clean and fresh.
Stopped by for a lunch break. Was really empty, maybe 4-6 people all together. Place is nice and clean, classic english pub/restaurant look, but really clean,no smoking inside. Had fish and chips. Would come back to this place again. Maybe next time for a drink, was impressed on the size of bars, I have seen 2 bars.
