The Half Moon is an Idyllic place to visit as situated in a beautiful area on the banks of the River Severn Ironbridge, a place for wonderful walks and a Heritage site with museums close by, Blists Hill a Victorian Museum is close by. Service was good and the staff made us feel welcome on arrival. A limited menu, food was good although it was a little pricey. And pleasant to watch the Severn flow past , was running fast as we have had a lot of rain Recommend
Excellent family meal here. Service was pretty good considering that it was a busy late afternoon. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Not cheap but in line with most gastro pubs of this type. Decor of the pub is very nice & the view over the river is wonderful.
Great place to have a drink and a meal. Stopped here whilst going on a walk with my wife during a trip to Ironbridge. Definitely recommend as the location is great and the food is excellent, a little pricey but not excessive. Great Location right on the river.
Had dinner here and we all really enjoyed our meals, 2 vegans a veggie and a meat eater, all tastes were catered for with main meals and dessert. Burgers were had by all and went down a treat. Great views of the river with plenty of seating inside and out, large car park as well. Reasonably priced as well. Worth a visit just to sit by the river with a shandy.
