Only stopped for a coffee in the cafe bar but even though it's quite expensive, it's very pleasant. Loads of space, very welcoming & warm. Food looked good too
After a two night stay at The Hafod in early January, I checked out of the hotel already planning a return. From beginning to end, the staff were polite and courteous, the room was well presented, clean and with great views. The food was good, pub-grub rather than anything fancy. Evening dining is within the bar and is shared with non-residents. It can get quite boisterous and busy on weekends, leaving the small team of staff struggling at times, but they were still always polite and attentive. It would be nice if there was a residents only dining space, perhaps this is the case during high-season. Overall, a very pleasant stay and I will definitely return in the future.
This was a great experience and the food was delicious. We arrived here after doing the Devils Bridge walk. We were delighted to find the restaurant quiet and with a warm fire and super comfy chairs. We ordered the fish and chips which were outstanding and very delicious. It was moderately priced and made for a great lunch. We’d definitely come back here.
Absolutely gorgeous hotel. We stayed in the Duke of Newcastle suite. Food is delicious, huge portions! Staff are amazing, so friendly and helpful. Great location for visiting Devil's Bridge falls and railway.
Came for food and booked for 1.30 Sunday lunch. There were so many options for a roast were plentiful and we ended up all going for the roast pork. I can honestly say it was one of the best roasts I've ever paid for! The whole family thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff were friendly helpful and attentive. The venue is beautiful in such a gorgeous setting. Can recommend highly enough!
