We had an amazing break away 1st-3rd January 24. Just what we needed to start the new year. Great room with a view, fab food and friendly staff. The atmosphere was lovely and very inviting! What more could we ask for! Our dogs enjoyed their stay too!
We stayed for 2 nights at George III and were so impressed by the whole experience! From the initial welcome from the manager, to the lovely and immaculately clean room and the high quality of the food and of course, Robinson's beer! What stood out was the consistently attentive, friendly and cheerful service from the whole team we met. From the young lady who served breakfast, to the restaurant team to the bar staff team, the service they provided was superb. We were so impressed that we are already looking to book another short stay in a couple of months. Thanks for everything and see you soon!
Great hotel. Rooms very well appointed, beautiful view and lovely welcoming staff. However - there is no sound proofing between the rooms and unfortunately the guests in the room next to ours had their television on late in the evening and early the next morning which kept us awake. We could hear clearly through the walls exactly what they were watching. Such a shame as this was the only downside of a lovely hotel and restaurant.
Wonderful Stay at the George111, the views are amazing the walks around the area are superb. The hotel was fantastic great atmosphere and great food and drink. The staff were superb and could not do enough for us. Also if you have a dog this is great place to stay. We will be back in the new year.
We visited for lunch. All the staff were very welcoming and as it’s dog friendly made a fuss of the dogs. The service was excellent and the food delicious. Nothing was too much trouble. The views are stunning and there’s a lovely walk which we then finished off with food and drinks
