Originally, anyone who wanted to trade in Preston, whether as a merchant, craftsman, market stall holder or in any other capacity, was required to be a member of the Guild Merchant. Today, we’re a pub that plies its trade in the food and drinks business and as anyone who has ever been here will tell you, very successfully. Make our family-friendly pub your favourite haunt. We got in there after doing a good deed for a friend .. decided to stop off for food 646pm .. was told very rudely no food.. even though 2 tables was served food after we sat down ... ordered drinks n packed of nuts.... Drank and left with empty bellies

Lunch on a Saturday. Service was a little slow waiting for food. Over 25 mins from ordering. However food was hot and tasty when it did arrive. Prices very good .

Good food at an excellent price. You cannot fault the portions and everything we had tasted good. Friendly staff and well worth a visit. Food served until 9pm and with specials everyday that include a drink from about £7.50 you cannot go wrong. This pub deserves to do well so go and support your local!

Great for our local, always had good food and service here .. very family friendly.. 3 years later still the same, Heather was amazing and worked her end off, Gary was also amazing for a random Wednesday night and being unexpectedly busy, handled the evening well, full of apologies.. great team here.

It's a really nice pub situated on a busy roundabout next to a garage and a Sainsbury's local. The inside is nice and it has a nice beer garden. However the food let's this place down. Husband ordered beef stroganoff and it arrived looking grey. He said it tasted like beef in dish water. I had beef and Stilton salad which was nice apart from the beef being tough and expensive for what you get. Sadly won't be eating here again.
