A really nice pub style restaurant right on the front of the promenade. It has a children’s play area outside which is nice to keep the kids occupied whilst you enjoy a nice cold one in peace.
We have visited a couple of times before and always been impressed by the service and the food. We came as a large group to celebrate family birthdays and we were really impressed with the service we received, we had pre-booked the table and it was ready when we arrived, meeting all the requirements we'd asked for. We ordered online and a member of staff came to check on how we would like the food to be served (kids meals with starters), they also noticed that a main meal had been missed off the order and asked us about this. Overall we had a very positive experience.
From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a smile and hello! I didn’t catch the lady’s name but she was very helpful and polite, she showed us to our table asked was the table alright for us! Carvery gentleman was also very polite and helpful! All in all we had a great lunch in a totally relaxed atmosphere! Big thank you to the staff for making us feel welcome!
Always very welcoming and clean. We take one of our residents that can be very loud but it is no trouble and no one complains which makes it so much nicer for us. The staff are always really warm and welcoming, polite and professional. The food is always hot and tasty with quick service. Definitely one of the best places we visit. Thank you
We had the festive menu, which was very good. We were seated and within 15 minutes we had our first course, they catered for myself who is gluten and dairy free with substitutes which was really good! The carvery was very nice! The desserts came out quite slow, but they were very tasty. Overall the service was a 4/5 very friendly staff, the food was a 5/5 very tasty and large portions. The atmosphere in the pub was a 5/5 too as they had music playing, added to the festivity! Thank you Southport Guelder Rose!
