Stopped off for a bite and a pint on the way home. Lovely busy pub, only seats available where outside but with a view like that, it’s ok with us. I opted for a lamb roast and was the best I’ve had for a very long time. The wife enjoyed her stew and the little one her children’s chicken curry. Highly recommended.
We had a wonderful lunch here, the food was outstanding all warm hearty home coocked meals, the staff were very welcoming and the scenery was breathtaking. 6 very happy ladies... we 100% would recommend visiting this beautiful little place and would definately return if we visit again.
Ladies behind the bar / serving the food were absolutely lovely. Couldn't of been more helpful, friendly or welcoming! Food was absolutely delicious. We sat outside and that's easily the most beautiful spot I've ever had food. You know you've been to a 5* place where the only "complaint" is too much food haha. Would recommend this to any and everyone. Brilliant!! Thankyou :)

Great dog friendly pub with a beautiful view of the river and valley, had a delicious lamb stew served with bread and butter. Service was good and very friendly.
