Incredible food, highly recommend the duck spring rolls with a homemade Bangalore sauce to start! Service was wonderful, with everyone being really friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this place!

Another amazing evening at the Griffin Inn. Tapas night, what can I say fantastic food, great service and superb value for money. A lovely mid week treat . Thank you to all the Griffin team.

I love this pub! As do all my family and friends!! And when I was in need of wi-fi for an important meeting, I was able to do my meeting at The Griffin, no questions asked. Always very helpful staff and Sir Jamie is amazing to meet :-) Highly recommend

Went for a family lunch having read the reviews. Guess we must have gone to a different pub. Great greeting from Jamie, the owner, and the initial service was good but once he had left it became a different situation. The serving staff, with one exception, were indifferent bordering on downright rude. I asked if the grandson could have some tomato sauce and was looked at, then ignored while the three of them carried on with their chat! I had to ask again before someone took notice. The food was mediocre and not worth the long wait and overpriced for what it was. In different company I would have walked out! Could not recommend.

A delightful evening. Started off by meeting the owner of the pub (and greater environs) in the car park, driving about in a black cab. We were charmed and welcomed right from the start. After a long day the garden was peaceful, the food was an interesting pub menu done well, and the service from all was perfect. Special thanks to Ray who would not be deterred from returning home purely to collect some mint so I could have a most excellent Mojito. Top drawer!
