We are a family run country inn with a restaurant and bar.
We are proud to say, all 13 Staff are local and live in the village of Warslow. Each member of the team has a wealth of knowledge on the area and can help you in the right direction dependent on your individual needs whilst visiting us.
January 2019 saw the pub change hands from being brewery owned back to where it belongs as a FREE HOUSE ''FREE to and FREE from''
We set to repairing and re building the pub as saw fit by centuries of use and restoring speculatively what it was originally built for.

Whether it be a day out walking, short break or lunch stop whilst passing we cover all your needs.
We are set within the beautiful scenery of the Peak District in the village of Warslow. We welcome families, walkers, cyclists and dogs.
We like to support local breweries and use local meat from Gap Farm (reared in the field behind the pub) within our dishes.

Really lovely meal here this evening. The brisket burger and the lasagne were both delicious. Also portion sizes were great and the homemade chips were awesome. The pint of ‘Thor’ was also lovely. Thank you for your hospitality!
Stayed over in the campervan last night for "pie and pint" night, absolutely fabulous meal, the best pie I've ever had! Excellent range of ales and very friendly pub. Oh and it's very dog friendly!
The best pub I've ever been to!! The food was some of the best restaurant food! I had the BBQ ribs and had to come back the next day for the roast! The staff and the service made me feel at home and so valued and loved! They honestly made my day and week!! If there was one thing we were looking forward to after a hike it was the food and service at greyhound to some hungry lads on a Sunday afternoon.
Me and the boys turned up to this pub after being rejected by another one due to our large number. We asked if they could cook for us at 9pm and they were delighted too. The service was amazing and made our entire trip. The food was delicious and the vibes, immaculate. We will certainly be returning
We stayed at the Greyhound Inn as our good friends were getting married and had their reception at the pub. I could not fault anything. Our room was a great size with a lovely en suite and decorated very nicely. The staff were fantastic and so accommodating. The food was delicious with a good choice on the menu (you have to try the pizzas!!!) Overall, we had a lovely stay and would definitely return in the future
