Bit confusing as you go in as it appears to be a pub, nice member of staff soon directed us to the restaurant area. Been recommended this restaurant by several friends so was looking forward to the food, and it didn't disappoint. Food was lovely, my favourite dishes were the Samosa Chaat and the Gulab Jamun. Staff were attentive, informative and friendly. Will definitely come back!
It seems this place has a new owner now. The food quality is still the same, I think the portions size is little small now. And the biggest change is the the folks at the main bar area. As you enter now you are greeted by a face with the question “why are you here” which is really strange from the previous owner who was very very welcoming and it reflected in the staff as well. Recently I tried ordering food for collection by calling them directly and they declined apparently as per the new management policy you need to order food by app only even for collection
The food is great, the chaats are more than just authentic, the ambience is great and very spacious. Start with a mango lassi and go to the chaats and then the biriyani this is how my family eats here .. We love this place!
We had one of the most atrocious experiences here. One of the staff seemed very undertrained, as if they had no clue of what they were doing. We ordered Chilli paneer (since two of us were vegetarian) and chilli fish. The lady gave us chilli fish saying it was chilli paneer, and we ate it realising it was not paneer at all and tasted unusual. We called the lady who made the mistake over to talk about it and all she did was apologise. It wouldn’t be a big problem if it weren’t our diet due to religious reasons. She should have checked thoroughly before realising that the actual Chilli paneer had not been served at all to our table. She started blaming the chefs inside the kitchen when it should be solely her responsibility about what she brings to our table as it is in her hands. We nearly threw up realising we just ate something against our religious diet.
