About us

Unlike many of its neighbours, our central London pub is bright and open with lots of room to watch the sport over a pint or two. It's not all about big-screen action, though: there's also plenty of space to savour some quality pub-food, wine and banter with friends. With roots dating back to 1738, you could say The Green Man has become part of the furniture - it's no surprise, then, that we draw an eclectic crowd of students, shoppers and workers all in search of a relaxing retreat.

We were at this pub twice during our stay in London and we enjoyed being there! the food was excellent (hamburgers for us), very nice atmosphere and the singers were very good especially the one of Saturday night (06/01/24) just amazing! I highly recommend this place, will definitely come back!

Very traditional English Pub with exceptional food. We had the Pies for main and calamari for main and both especially the pie was 10 out of 10! Definitely wasn't expecting food of this calibre at an English pub. Beers were cold sports on the multiple TVs and a great atmosphere. Staff were friendly . If you are in the area it's worth calling in just for the Pie :-)

Enjoyed a couple of pints in here whilst watching the footy. Quite busy but good atmosphere and quick service. Didn't eat here but the menu looked good.

We stopped here before going to watch a Panto. The pub is 5 min walk from the Oxford Street station, so it’s the perfect location. 2adults, 2kids. We came at 5pm & managed to find a table, but it got busy very quickly. Food was served quickly, tasted really nice. There’s no kids menu btw. Toilets are downstairs. Nice atmosphere, plenty of sport, staff was lovely as well.
