Excellent delicious food, great value, and a lovely inviting atmosphere. We went with a group of friends (11 of us in total), and we were made to feel very welcome with no rush, very polite service. I would highly recommend.

So we went for afternoon tea and prosecco. Walking in the place is welcoming and lovely, the food was exactly as described and really high quality. Unlimited tea and coffee, and loved the picnic theme. Staff were welcoming and responsive... literally couldn't ask for anything more. Perfect end to a walk!

Visited the Green Man for a meal and drinks mid- afternoon on a Thursday during ‘Fish Fest’. I had pre-ordered an Octopus as it wasn’t on the menu. Chef had asked how I would like it cooked and I gave her free rein to cook and present it as she wished. On serving it looked amazing, the whole octopus served above a dish with mussels and razor clams in a lovely tasting creamy sauce. It was all cooked to perfection and tasted spot on. My friends had Lobster & Swordfish which was again all cooked to perfection. Also with regard drinks there is always a changing choice of real ales plus lagers, Guinness etc and a very extensive selection of wines, gins, rums, vodkas, whiskies etc etc to take your pick from. All in all a great day out, friendly staff and friendly locals adding to the ambience of the place. Thanks to all! Would definitely recommend, give it a try you won’t be disappointed!

Went in for a late lunch today. Very friendly welcome and seen to with drinks straight away. We had the fish and chips which were amazing and also breaded halloumi which again was fantastic. If you’ve never been here before I 100% recommend it. Will be back again soon!
