About us

Welcome to The Green W7.

The green on Lower Boston Manor Road has hosted pubs for almost 130 years. The first incarnation, named ‘The White Hart’ was followed subsequently by ‘The Dolphin’, then ‘The Inn On The Green’ and has now been extensively refurbished inside and out to become ‘The Green W7’. Our pub features an extension to the original building, which houses the brand new Wood Fired Pizzeria and Gourmet Burger restaurant ‘IL VERDE’.

With all the emphasis on the quality of our food, ‘The Green W7’ is the perfect venue for you relax and enjoy each other’s company. Dining here is easy, with our chefs using traditional techniques with passion to provide simple, delicious meals.

Our pub is also proud to provide comfortable and stylish accommodation to anyone wishing to stay a little longer, in one of several rooms upstairs; available for booking now.

So now you know what we have to offer, it's time to book a table and join us! We love being part of the Hanwell community.

See you all soon.

Wishing you all the best,

Your team at The Green.

I stayed with some friends over Christmas and we were all very happy. If we return to the area we would definitely stay there again. The area is very peaceful. The train station and bus stops are close by. The rooms are spacious, the beds were very comfortable and you get plenty of towels and shampoo. The bathroom is also heated. There is also a coffee maker in the room so you can make yourself a cup of tea or coffee with some biscuits. There are 3 bathrooms but they are shared. The terrace is comfortable and BEWARE that sometimes a cat friend comes to hang out there. The staff are very friendly and approachable. The breakfast is amazing, there is a set menu to choose from. The pub atmosphere at night is fun, especially if you are a foreigner and interested in traditional London nightlife. And the food is amazing, the pizza is a must try, I fell in love with the cheese.

It is a very nice local pub. They have some events going on like Ukelele night on Tuesday. The only caveat is that the menu is not inclusive. They don’t have a single dish that is gluten free. I am not saying they should change all items and make them gluten free but few options for those with this allergy would be the right way to proceed.

I called numerous times before our stay, as I can not eat wheat, gluten, dairy & soya. Even calling twice in the week before we arrived. When we came down for dinner the only thing 9n the menu that I could eat was a burger in a GF bun with salad. Even after repeated messages & calls being a shored I had a choice to eat! The room was underwhelming. I know we were sharing a bathroom, but there was no sink in the room either. The room was very tired, broken plaster, drawers missing pulls & only 3 hangers in the "wardrobe/cupboard. A small bottle of water in the room for tea & coffee. The first night we stayed, people were still noisily in the bar until 1am shouting & screaming. Even screaming bye night night as they left. Breakfast the next morning was interesting the waitress/cook had no idea of my food allergies. I managed to have bacon, egg, grilled tomatoes with a grilled/toasted brioche burger bun. So we went elsewhere. (See my other review) When we returned on Saturday evening they thankfully closed one time & it was a quieter sleep. Breakfast on Sunday was the same, but at least the waitress/cook knew what I could eat.

Were the cheapest yet best places available, closer to a bus stop & Hanwell station as well. Rooms are comfortable & bathrooms are super clean. Free breakfast every morning & some days have a band playing music till 11.30pm.

A lovely pub next to the green. Lots of outdoor seating and good atmosphere. The food is delicious. We had the burger which was gluten free and the pizza (not gluten free) the staff were really helpful and it's an all round great place to enjoy food and drinks. Would recommend.
