The inn was established in 1740 and was so named after the village green it was built on. Once the geographical centre of the village it ended up isolated as the houses were built further up the road leaving the inn half a mile away from the centre!
There is a lawned beer garden, woodland area and a large car parking area. A large function room is available upstairs along with seperate bar and restaurant areas. Reopened in 2014 under new ownership and has been smartly refurbished throughout. It is pleasing to see such a commitment to real ale.

We booked The Green Inn for a family birthday meal. We all (12) had the Sunday roast... choices were Lamb or Beef, plus veggie option. The food was outstanding, amazing value for money. Service was fabulous. It's a real gem of a family pub and we would highly recommend it. We will definitely be booking again soon.

Stopped here over night with the camper van. Exhausted and hungry from our travel. Staff were awesome and made us very welcome. Other customers were very welcoming and friendly. The food was amazing. Be warned tho. The green inn burger leaves no room for the beautiful desserts. Will definitely be back. Highly recommended

Very pleasant village pub in the lower Tanat Valley. Well maintained and very comfortable lounge and separate pool room and bar. The bar has a large screen tv for sports fans.
