Attended on Monday January evening so may not have seen the pub in all it's glory however there were several people there and the energy was nice. Staff friendly and a large option of Ales and Larger on tap. Good quite spot for a catch up with friends
Our Morris side enjoyed a wonderful evening at the Green Dragon tonight for our Yuletide celebrations.The Green Dragon has a warm & welcoming atmosphere & the tables were set beautifully 🎄 The food was wonderful. Everyone cleared their plates. There is a great choice of beers and cider which led to very happy Morris Dancers! Cheers to Lucy, who ironed out any challenges with ease & Thank you to all the team at The Green Dragon in Croydon😁
Booked the bottomless brunch and was so pleasantly surprised by how great this pub is. Didn’t feel like we were in Croydon at all! The lovely Lucy served us and ensured that our brunch really was bottomless. Excellent service, good atmosphere and great surroundings. Would highly recommend and was really good value. Will definitely be back!
Always enjoy going to the Dragon, and it never fails to impress. The beer range is outstanding, and always impeccably kept. A CAMRA discount is available, as well. Service is always friendly and never flustered, even at the busiest of times. Lucy, Tom and Mary were on duty today and they were all excellent. The food is top notch in its category; this isn’t a gastropub, so don’t expect Michelin-starred cuisine. It’s just good quality, affordable and delicious pub classics: burgers, pizza, etc. I had the karaage chicken burger today and it combined a crunchy coating with beautifully tender chicken, although the base of the bun did disintegrate. If a soft bun is the only criticism of a pub, you know that you’re in a quality place. Full marks to Sue and her team. I’ll have to get to the Dragon more often.
Nice place. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Food. Pool table. Clean toilets. Absence of crack heads, which is desirable in a comfortable inn to settle down for an evening. The world's supply of gin varieties plus a good beer selection, including ales. Wines of unknown quality. Like the layout, feel and vibe of the place. Try it out
