Located on Hornsey high street, this pub is stunning, a real good looking pub that's aesthetically pleasing. This is in fact my second visit. This time we decided to have a quick bite, it was the spicy chicken wings and triple cooked chips that were calling out to us. The chicken wings were accompanied with a blue cheese dip and the triple cooked chips were hot, crispy and fluffy. We finished it off with the sticky toffee pudding served with salted caramel buffalo milk ice cream. Honestly one of the best I've tasted, not too sweet, paired with the ice cream it was to die for, trust me, trust me, I have tasted plenty. Although it was on the slightly pricier side at £8.50 per portion, it was decent. We loved it so much, we decided to order another portion, sadly they had run out of the salted caramel ice cream so we opted for vanilla. We realised the sponge was hard towards the end, perhaps it was warmed up in the microwave. Staff were friendly and polite, would definitely visit again. Great ambience inside especially with the candles all lit up. Accessible toilets. Beer garden and private function rooms available. Location 7/10 Food 7.5/10 Ambience 8/10

Love this pub but, given the excellent beer selection, it's a shame that the bar staff weren't a bit more knowledgeable. I was served either the wrong beer or a poor iteration of the right beer. The manager fixed it, but for £8 a pop they should be getting it right first time.

Thought we'd try this place for a Sunday roast. Bought the beef and vegetarian roasts which were both pretty pricey. £21.95 for beef £19.95 for vegetarian. We were left extremely disappointed 😔. We had 1/4 of a carrot and the same for parsnip, 3 small parts of a potato each (roasties). We had cut up cabbage. Nutroast didn't come with any cauliflower cheese or Yorkshire pub as advertised on the menu. Although it must've been vegan but didn't ask for vegan. We were actually left hungry after eating this small meal. The gravy is nice and the bottle of wine (£30 ish) all in all, I paid £70 for two people, roast and wine and felt a bit short changed. The atmosphere was pretty cold, hardly anybody there on peak time Sunday. We won't be coming here again for food. Maybe a drink but not food. In the picture below is the food, I think we'd had one or two bites before thinking to post and show other folks to proceed with caution to eat here. The staff are friendly and service was fast.

Great place with loads of space. Nice comfy booth and huge variety of crafts as well, with digital up to date board/screen behind the bar. Cozy place with nice atmosphere and very kind and pleasant service. Its worth noticing that the garden is very big and beautiful too. Very broad and tasty menu. I had Sunday roast and it was delicious. Excellent pub 5 star. Totally recommend, definitely going to come back. Cheers for hosting me!

This place made me laugh! A lovely "off the grid" Fuller's pub offering all sorts of beer Away from the usual menu! Don't worry, Pride is still on tap. Absolutely lovely staff, ready to find you a drink you like . A happy family pub with smiles all around. Function room upstairs and a patio garden out the back. A lovely visit. It all made me smile.
