I visited here on my way to Brick Lane as it was raining outside. This is a very traditional and quintessential British pub with a very authentic atmosphere. The beer was great tasting and there were a good few options, my guest who preferred non-alcoholic beverages has a lovely apple drink which she enjoyed.
Stopped for a quick glass of wine and meatballs. The meatballs didn't have much taste. The wine was alright. It was quite loud, but it was on a Saturday night in the basement.
Bad atmosphere. And they advised doing cocktails which I ordered he just made a Gin and tonic. What a joke. When asked the bar man he was rude and unpleasant
This is on my secret London tour. Great food, small old alley way, make sure you get a pint of wallop in a tankard. Very authentic and amazing wines, ports and cheese platters
This small, cozy pub is the perfect place to relax and catch up with friends. The rustic wood walls and dim lighting create a warm and inviting atmosphere. There are tables available upstairs and downstairs, so you can find a spot to fit your group. We would definitely recommend this pub to anyone looking for a great place to enjoy a drink and some food with friends.
