My partner and I visited this fantastic pub earlier on this week after several previous positive visits, and it’s quickly becoming our favourite spot for a drink in the city centre. Their selection is unparalleled and the staff can’t do enough for you - the lovely Jack in particular has really stood out to us each time. We’ll definitely be back again soon enough - thank you so much!

Great bar with 8 hand pull and 30 taps of ale, cider and lager. Nice old pub with nice decor in suiting with the pub facade.
Recently reopened after a long hiatus, 6 ales a couple of ciders, and 30 + craft taps, you really are spoilt for choice here, more contemporary than before. Gone is the bench seating, and replaced with high stools. Hate high chairs in pubs, stools though, that's cost you a ⭐, nobody feels comfortable perched on a stool, especially after a few beers.
