We only popped in on our way back to our cottage We had a drink & something to eat .so we don't know about the rooms .but the management & staff were very welcoming and helpful. The food was excellent, and the beer . It was dark, so we couldn't see much outside, but it looked like a wonderful outside area if you were there in the summer A must to coming back then .we love North Wales
Booked for a weekend away to walk Snowdon. Great place to stay. Excellent food. Rooms are lovely. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Had a great evening chatting to the staff. Can’t thank them enough for making our weekend so enjoyable. We’ll be back….. Auntie E and Laura xx
Stopped for lunch travelling to North Wales so can only really comment on this element. The staff were very friendly and helpful, food was very good and well priced. We ate in the bar area as we had two dogs with us so can only comment on that area, it was welcoming with a good atmosphere and clean. As a note side of the carpark a very well equipped play area for children
Wow. What a totally superb meal we had tonight. Best of our holiday so far. The restaurant is Cosy and the staff are very friendly. Great value for money. Our last day in Wales tomorrow and we will be returning to the grapes again for an evening meal. 😁
Not staying at the hotel, but dropped in here for a quick drink after a day out, and was pleased to see that it is still holding to the traditional values of what a proper pub used to be. Drinks and service were excellent so we decided to go back for lunch the following day. We had the steak, onion and mushroom ciabatta with a side of chips, and our guests had the combo platter and the smothered chicken. All meals arrived together and piping hot. The food was absolutely delicious and service to match. We will definitely be back in November and may venture the legendary ribs. Would highly recommend here for food and drinks when in the area.
