Superb place for food and drink. Highly recommend
I've been coming to gran cru for a number of years but feel it's lost its charm a little bit. Although the re furbished bar area I'd lovely. The toilets really let the place down. We had cocktails one of my friends really enjoyed hers but myself and my other friend had a rasp fizz drink. It didn't taste good at all. First time I've not enjoyed my visit. We will return but would love the finesse to continue to the toilets
Lively atmosphere. Spent an evening here after a Christmas meal out with about 12 work colleagues. We had the upstairs area with the large table all to ourselves. Service was a bit lagging, but it was busy and during the Christmas party season. Music was too loud for polite conversation, but the atmosphere was vibrant. Drinks are the usual Edinburgh prices which can be a bit of a sharp intake of breath when you're not expecting them. Probably a good watering hole to take refuge in for a quick drink as you're on your way to the real party.
Brilliant spot for a chilled out drink and eats. Lovely staff and great prices for cocktails. Will definitely be returning!
