Came for the student drinks, and even though it says Sunday they “don’t honour the deal on a weekend” staff radio’d manager and they said the posters haven’t been updated yet.. Other than that, bang average pub, expensive drinks f
Great place for drinks and food. We only got a bowl of chips to go with our drinks but they were good. Other people's food looked really good though. The staff are nice and friendly and plenty of space to sit.
Four of us were meeting up with a friend who moved away . 1st time meeting up after 2 years. I love the Old Bank as sometimes have a breakfast which is delicious. The staff are very friendly, courteous and just great. Great atmosphere ,you can really see and feel the staff enjoy working here. We ordered the 5 small dishes for £15 x 3, We were having such a great time that I forgot to take photos of the food. Just means we will have to go back. I would highly recommend this place. Thank you to Kym and Jess for serving us with smiles 😊
The beef burger was nice not much chips my mum had the beef pie with mushrooms, mash, veg and gravy the gravy was a bit too thick the veg very hard and the pie was slightly over cooked it was ok nice pub with lots of seating and well kept clean toilets down stairs had a secret garden bit outisde I didn't go out as it was raining a bit at the time what I could see there was games to play outside and downstairs had a massive pool table
My friend and I were very pleasantly welcomed by Jen, who went above and beyond. We ordered the full breakfast which arrived in really good time, and was certainly delicious (compliments to the chef). The atmosphere was lovely, the place very clean and inviting, all in all a lovely rare visit home to where I'm originally from. P. S- if Jen ever fancies a change of career I'd give her a job without hesitation, absolutely first class customer service skills, a credit to you.
