A welcoming pub. The staff were friendly and assertive. That's the first time we have been in the pub after passing many of times. Will be going again at some point. Food was great!

Lovely family pub, the lasagna was beautiful nice and hot , plenty of salad and dressing , didn’t have to wait to long .

My wife and I went in today with our one year old daughter to grab some lunch after walking the dog. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and making a real effort to show people that they are the “friendly new owners”. One thing I really enjoy is how they are catering for everyone; dogs, kids, sports fans, regulars, families, drinkers etc. The staff in there were really attentive and conversational and approached us to give our daughter a toy free of charge and sat interacting with her for a few minutes which we gladly welcomed. I’m really glad it’s our local with the changes they’ve made. I’ll definitely go in more often

Decent mixed grill. Normally you get one meat not up to standard but I could not fault any of the meats on the plate. Chilled atmosphere in there also. I have been here about 6 times in total but really enjoyed it tonight and was so full I could not even manage a dessert, 100% next time though🤞
