food was okay although steak was very tough and. chips Were nice, nice that they do gluten free. decaf coffee was awful and undrinkable, but I Still had to pay for another drink after taking it back. drinks are expensive for Such small CUPS.
I wanted to eat some fish and chips but they didn't have any ,so I ordered a cowboy burger, very good quality, and also I enjoyed the chips. The cappuccino was great. It's very nice you can order on-line without going to the bar. Service was also very good.
Went on boxing day, the food was delicious and the service was top notch, We will definitely be returning.
Having reviewed plenty of pub food… this was interestingly poor. Did it taste ok? Sure but it’s a pub. 7 wings (6 wings 6 on my son’s plate) and this was a sharer at £7.99? Just down the road a similar pub that rhymes with “the old grey mare” gives you 16 because it’s called a sharer at £8.99 and it’s enough to share. The rest of the menu looked ok. But seriously… avoid the “sharer” dishes if you want to share them. 2 out of 10 for me. *we did speak to staff about this and we were told “that’s how they come” but no reply as to why I had 7 wings and my son only had 6. All in all a good pub but we will avoid the wings.
The goodfellowship is a very large pub specialising in food. There is a good selection of beers, larger and cider including two cask conditioned hand pulled real ales. There are bar games pool tables and dartboard. I have always enjoyed the food, the staff are friendly it's a nice pub with a large function room. There is outside seating to the front and a beer garden in the large car park.
