Appealing little craft beer place that might just warrant a trip to Stockton by itself. A real locals spot - place was full of old timers waxing lyrical on various issues. Really pleasant, gregarious young chap called Cameron manning the casks was a nice little bonus ball.
Excellent little pub serving great beers at reasonable prices. Friendly, helpful staff. Turn up early evening and you can even sit outside in the sun, perfect!
Don't know anything about the food but great range of changing real ales and ciders. Very good value. Quite small but not as micro as some.
Friendly atmosphere as always. Nice selection. Great place to spend some time.
Excellent micro pub. Edit... When I said excellent I meant this is the best pub in England. Every time I go in, the beer is consistently amazing, and ever changing to suit every style. This place is beyond five stars!!!!
