Lovely hot sunny day with a nice cold pint pulled and served by a friendly barman with pleasant enough chat. I don't go out very often during the day but if/when I do I will go there again...
Love this pub, spotlessly clean and so friendly, you are made to feel welcome.
I'll have to start with the star system. This pub is worth more than 4 stars and just under 5 stars. Why just under 5 stars is because they've got rid of the pool table. Right then the pub. It's a smashing local that serves my favourite tipple but also my wife's too and believe me that's rare to find a pub that does that. Can't comment on food as we've not gone there for food. They have a really nice beer garden which during a bright summers day is excellent. There's seating outside on the front. Out front it's quiet from traffic as the pub is on a dead end road. Yes it's very close to the motorway but you barely hear its traffic. This is a proper old school local with good drink and customers. Nuff sed.

It was very nice the Landlady is very nice she is perfect to the customers. The landlord however is so miserable come on landlord smile for once and cheer yourself up.
