Visited for the first time for Afternoon Tea today with two friends. I am vegetarian and my two friends eat meat. When we phoned before booking we were informed that the veggie option would just be more of the vegetarian items eg double amount of egg sandwiches etc. To my absolute surprise and delight I was informed on arrival of a long list of veggie versions of all meat counterparts that the chef would be making for me. This was so meaningful to me and made me feel so included I was really happy. The service was also top tier everyone was so friendly and helpful. Definitely will be back and will be bringing my family. Thank you to all at Golden Fleece who made such a lovely experience today.
Not one for these posh Sunday dinners but we went here with a couple of friends (4 of us in total) and was blown away. The food was absolutely fantastic, a real steal for the price! Service was spot on as well even on a busy Sunday afternoon. The pictures speak for themselves - we will return!
Lovely modern place. Not wait8ng long for food. Friendly staff. Food is delicious. Children's portions are just as big as adults. Plenty of choice. I would definitely recommend and go again. High chairs are provided. Outdoor seating available.
Unbelievable delicious food and cocktail (blackberry&honey gin topped with Prosecco), really cozy and beautiful place and the cutest staff! So, actually i want to move to this town for living next to this pub. I hope i will do it.
Ate from the 'Lunchtime Lite Bite' menu. Very good food. Portions are a good size. Good value. Busy so waiter a bit slow to take our order. Otherwise service good. Traditional/modern decor.
