Noisy with kids crying and screamy drunken gen z. Atmosphere, zero. Food was over cooked with the base burnt yet the crust edge perfect, topping a bit mean. Staff were lovely. I was here before and didn't like it then but thought I'd give it another try. Was a good local pub in its day, wish it was again. Nope, won't go back. Better eateries elsewhere in Whitefield.
Amazing pub, lovely atmosphere, great bar staff. Enjoy going here for a few drink and a bite to eat. Great service Rach time!
Since being renovated a few years back this pub has been a regular on our list of places to visit. The interior is bright, clean and comfortable. The bar is typical Holt pub, but it has a good range of their drinks available. Prices are very reasonable, one the cheaper places to drink in the area. The menu is varied and pizzas are made fresh to order. They're pretty decent, and topping choices are not your usual selection. Beer is usually good quality, staff are always extremely friendly and the locals seem content to have a beer and not cause any drama. Dogs are welcome in the beer garden or the back room. Only negative for me personally is the TVs are usually playing sport, and when the soccer is on it's best to avoid unless you want to stand and shout at a TV.
Impromptu visit after work with my dog. Super friendly staff felt welcomed with our boxer. Bowl of water without asking. Were only doing pizza, flatbreads and wedges off the menu but we sat outside and shared it and it was delicious. Not sure if they usually run the full menu? Really enjoyed the food and will be back
Excellent rivals proper Italian pizza places chicken wings were delicious too, we was told there was an hour wait for food which didn’t seem to be quite an hour felt like 30 mins it gets very busy tho. Very nice place just been completely revamped.
