Well rooms were ok ish, food very overrated and small portions, bathroom was a bit grim with very worn-out taps and plugs. Most hotels serve at bar until last resident finishes or at least have the decency to call time. No first or final call made. People were still queuing to buy drinks and barmaid just packed up and went.😔 Breakfast the eggs were undercooked with white clear jelly over yolks. Mushrooms were reheated from day before I would guess as some were plump but others dry and black. Clean bedding and soft bed at least for thei ey it was mediocre. Most staff except bar man and woman were very friendly and helpful wonderful receptionists
Rooms very hit and miss - refurbished are good, remainder are poor. On New Years Day, it seems that no rooms had hot water - our "hot tap" and shower were freezing cold. Had the same complaint last year and were then told it was a temporary problem.
Great hotel. Really nice inside, staff very friendly. Bar and restaurant were lovely and cosy. Very modern inside. Will def stay again. Only half an hr outside Bath and easy to find, just off the motorway.
Rooms are excellent, clean. Shower room with different tiles and different patern on each wall . Food is a bit pricey for what you get, but thats my opinion. Reception staff are very smart and very polite. Highly recommend.
Booked here for 1 night as a stop over to Cornwall,, Easy to find of the M5. Standard King room was perfect.. comfy bed, clean, everything you need for a quick stop.. restaurant is a Marco's with a good choice on the menu and not overpriced.. Buffet breakfast was outstanding with a good choice of everything.. Definitely stay again
