Busy village inn, circa 1457, popular with the locals.
There is a garden to the rear and the front patio overlooks the village green (car parking on the green). Pleasant walks to the river where the ferry runs daily to Tewkesbury and Bredon. Rambling bar area. The pub is used by local skittle and darts teams and as a meeting place for many local societies and clubs. Watch out for the low entrance doorway. The pub has low ceilings and the enclosed attractive gardens enhance the beautiful village setting.
Located opposite the green in the village of Twyning in Gloucestershire, The Village Inn is a traditional village local with low beams and a real fire. We offer a broad selection of real ales and wines along with home-cooked pub food.
During the summer our beer garden is perfect for enjoying a spot of eating and drinking. We are conveniently located providing easy access from the main road network being just 5 minutes from the M50 and M5 motorways.

A great night in a very friendly warm welcoming pub, the staff are first class, nothing too much trouble. The food was absolutely lovely, you couldn't beat it, best beef casserole I've had out, so tasty and a good varied menu. Certainly worth a visit!!! We'll be back.
Just had a fantastic lunch, the best Garlic Bread we've had and amazing Burgers. Staff were exceptional and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be coming here again. Review by 2 strange ladies and a teenager.
Very welcoming and friendly, helpful staff and patrons. Been thrice so far. Twice to eat which was absolutely delicious. So many tasty sounding meals on the special board, plus the homemade pies, it was difficult to choose. The third time was on the day of the Twyning fete and they had live music on. Which were very good musicians. Thoroughly enjoyable. Can't wait to go again. Just moved here and find the folk very warm and friendly.
What a welcome!!! Really great vibe, clearly popular with both locals and holiday makers. Staff were all very friendly and extremely helpful Food was really good at a reasonable price. On a lovely evening it was great to be able to sit outside.
Went for Sunday lunch. It was lovely. My dad spoke to the chef/manager? And asked if they could accommodate his carnivore diet (yes!) Mom asked if he would do fish in parsley sauce (with notice yes!) Very dog friendly (came over with a bowl of water and couple of dog treats!) Child friendly ( came over with a freddo bar after lunch!) All very nice touches. Lovely little pub on a stunning green. Will definitely return.
