About us

We are very proud of and promote good beer. We stock local ales such as Brakspears’ Oxford Gold and Bitter and our own Five Alls house ale alongside local craft beers, cask ales, continental lagers and guest ales on tap. We also offer Thatcher’s Gold cider and a carefully chosen selection of New and Old World champagnes, sparkling and 15 red, white and rose wines by the glass and around 60 wines by the bottle. We also create our own seasonal house cocktails and mixes.

We are happy to cater to your individual needs, and offer brunch, a la carte and a set menu lunch and dinner, lighter meals, bar snacks and sandwiches.

The Five Alls is perfectly set up for catering for large numbers and private parties with two restaurants seating 110 people, a large bar and lovely garden. To make an enquiry about any of the above please call or email thefivealls@barkbygroup.com.

Although we are a large pub, weekends can get very busy so we recommend booking in advance by telephone or through our website booking interface namely ‘book a table’

Please note that the restaurant is closed on Sunday evenings

We are open 7 days a week with only the restaurant closed on Sunday evenings.

We stayed in the family room. It was very comfortable and spacious. The pub is very traditional. We had dinner & breakfast here, the food was exceptional. Small menu with fresh quality ingredients. We highly recommend it! Staff was friendly and helpful. We hope to return on our next visit to England.

A classic old English pub serving great classic food, complemented by polite and courteous staff. But because of the pubs age it makes wheelchair access a little difficult and also does not have an accessible toilet. This, however, will not stop us returning .

Apologies for late review. We stayed here as a family group to attend our daughter's wedding at a venue nearby. Tish and her team were brilliant over our entire stay. Nothing was too much trouble and Tish understood our needs during our stay. Many thanks to you all.

We stayed just one night to meet up with friends. Had dinner in the restaurant, which was good. Service was excellent with really friendly staff. The room (in the garden building) was lovely - spacious, comfortable and with ample parking right outside. Breakfast was fine the following morning and we felt the pricing was reasonable for the overall experience.

Booked a table for anniversary dinner. We had a very delicious dinner, both choosing Chargrilled Chicken Linguie, great choice it was excellent. The cheese cake with raspberry sauce and vanilla ice cream was very light and sumptuous. We will be returning at some point, as the food, overall, was fabulous quality and fairly priced. Table services was also great. Only small point, the online menu, differed from the actual menu. It's not a big issue, but it's possibly something that needs to be checked beforehand for some.
