Very sorry about this review this morning it's not about Copa exactly, it's about the scaffolding outside, was sat having a coffee at 10.30 this morning at la scala opposite & all me & my friend could hear was extremely loud basey music coming from Copa, it doesn't look very good. It sounded more like a night club could not relax couldn't wait to leave town, 😔
Stylish interior, staff were amazing very helpful and friendly and we felt very safe. I had the Sunday roast it was absolutely fabulous. I would advise to book it on a Sunday as appeared very popular. The beef was scrumptious. Reasonably priced for the homemade quality. Well worth the visit. We will definitely go back!!
First time going here normally go to more well known establishments (which to be fair have been very hit and miss) but entered with an open mind. So picked a secluded table sat down and ordered wasn't to busy so food didn't take to long and I have to say did not disappoint It was very good as I have to say was the service Think have found my new place for eating out all I have to think about now is which pudding to have next time.
This place was so welcoming and chill! Staff behind the bar and running the floor were very friendly and approachable. Ordered 3 smaller sharer plates as a snack which was so delicious.. Crispy Battered Cod Goujons Karaage Sticky Chicken Crispy Squid All so worth it! Wasn't as busy as I thought it would be on a Friday night, which I didn't mind! Atmosphere was great too! The fact that the owner looks like they reply to all the reviews made on google shows they take feedback seriously and look to provide amazing customer service. Will definitely be visiting again.
Good selection of beers and a nice variety of food available on the menu. Options for most dietary requirements were clearly visible but it did state on the menu to ask if you had questions. I was a little taken aback by the prices when I first look, as £8 for a toastie seemed a bit steep. However, it was BIG and came with a salad garnish, which was good. My non-meat burger was excellent and my wife enjoyed her salad. Staff were polite, friendly and efficient. Our meal was served quickly, the food was fresh and hot and the table was cleaned before and after we had eaten. The gents toilets were up a flight of narrow stairs. I didn't see a disabled toilet but I did not go looking for it. I would recommend it.
