Unpretentious rooms are decorated with floral prints, and feature free Wi-Fi, TVs, and tea and coffeemaking facilities. All have en suite bathrooms, while 1 adds an antique 4-poster bed and a sofa.
The bar serves great value drinks all day long. There's a refurbished covered beer garden and free off-street parking.

Was good for what we wanted, accommodation near the centre of Yeovil. The rooms were clean & tidy, with tea/coffee making facilities, and a nice warm shower with good water pressure. Just a shame the pub did not sell real ale.
I have read some of the reviews and Yes it is a budget hotel, rooms / bathrooms are clean and well stocked with coffee/ toiletries. I have stayed in various rooms and you can shut curtains. The staff are very friendly and go out of way to help you. It's a pub don't try and compare it to a 5 star hotel.. It's warm friendly and inviting
A no frills hotel, but a warm welcome and clean room and bathroom. Lots of tea and coffee and a real treat of biscuits in the room! The toiletries were good quality. In a good location. You check in via the pub building and that has some amazing features.
This review is about the hotel. The room was a clean little room with 2 sets of beds, towels, shampoo and body wash. Kettle with coffee, tea, sugar sachets were abundant. Storage cabinet was sufficient. TV with loads of freeview channels. The downside though was the creaky noises when someone climbs up or down the stairs outside, quite dated building perhaps. For the price no complaints though.
Chose this hotel as the sample menu I downloaded looked nice. Checked in at the bar at 8.00pm (as hotel reception closed). I asked what time they finish serving food. He said "no food til next week". Luckily loads of nice pubs serving food within 10 minutes walk. Room adequate but dusty and full of cobwebs. Tea and coffee things all stuffed into a paper cup of indeterminate age and very dusty, so, not for me. Small towels but that's fine because there was no hot water for a shower. Fifty quid well spent? I fear not. A Premier Inn round the corner with luxuries like china cups and hot water for a shower all for the same price. Don't I feel silly.
