Located in the centre of the village of Llanwnnen, this lovely hotel derives it s name from the river Grannell which flows below the hotel. Llanwnnen is a short drive to the University Town of Lampeter, with its diverse shops, market, and the recently opened Welsh Quilt Museum is well worth a visit. The coastline of Cardigan Bay and the Cambrian mountains are within easy reach. The surrounding area covers a variety of sightseeing and activities including:- The National Botanic Gardens, Llanerchaeron, National Library of Aberystwyth, Lampeter Quilt Museum, access to golf course, arrangements for riding/pony trekking, Cambrian Mountains, Llandysul Paddlers and Canoe Centre, Fishing at Springwater lakes and much more.
We had a society dinner. 3 course carvery. It was lovely. Service excellent.
A large group of us from a Church in Swansea enjoyed a delicious carvery at the hotel on the weekend. The meats were beautifully cooked and there was a vast choice of freshly cooked vegetables to choose from. We enjoyed home made stuffing and Yorkshire puddings. The deserts went down a treat too. Thanks for catering for us all. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We’ll be back!!
We stopped here for a carvery dinner on a coach outing. The food was amazing, top notch. The service was fast and friendly. Everything was clean and in good order. Highly recommended for a group booking.

I had the new Mega Plate Carvery today and it was delicious. A huge Yorkshire pudding that covered the plate filled with meat, a variety of veg and gravy. The service was great, the staff are always so friendly and willing to help. I'll definitely be back soon.
