The Ginger Hall is instantly recognizable by its colour. Inside the welcoming one room bar area, there is a real fire in colder months and an impressive beer engine dominating the bar. The beer engine dispenses Moorhouses and local Ales.
Each window has an impressive black and white picture of a TT bike rider and a large TT map on the ceiling too. As well as a popular restaurant that also does reasonably prices take away food, the Ginger Hall does accommodation some of which is en-suite.
Great local pub with good friendlyservice. The newly fitted out restaurant looks great serving some really tasty pub food.
We had a small Christmas private event held in their lovely restaurant space. All sorted on a short notice but it couldn’t be any smoother. Mark was very accommodating to our request, place looked amazing, friendly and helpful staff and food was super delicious. Cheap as well so defo 5 stars from us.
I spent a day on the steps surrounded by genuine folk who enjoyed chance to just hang out with a lovely beet and watch the racing in a close location, made some great friends instantly 🍺🤝
Called in for a few pints on a Sunday afternoon, I had never visited this place before. The beer was in excellent condition and the service was fast and the staff very friendly and polite. As it was a Sunday the buses were few and far between which was not a problem for us as we had planned ahead. Overall it was an enjoyable experience and I will return.
What a true taste of Thailand! We visited as a family group and were lucky to get a table without a booking. I would recommend you call ahead if you are making a special trip and have not prebooked. There was a very good selection of Thai dishes and were not disappointed with anything we received. The staff were a little distracted at times but the food made up for it. The only sad part is the price; definitely a treat rather than an every day event! I would definitely go back though as that was some of the best Thai food I’ve had.
