I live next door in the Denburn Court block. Sometimes go in on my way home from lectures at the university near by. Absolutely great place, it’s got the still game vibe of a really friendly bartender and the regular bar patrons are some top blokes. Would recommend for a true Scottish experience of a pub atmosphere for those who want a real Scottish experience. Not like those pubs who offer a snazzy new vibe but one that’s true to Scotland and makes me genuinely proud to be Scottish.

It's a much better place now the new owner ally has taken it over and staff they all make you feel very welcome and you get a great laugh with the local people they always speak to you. Price is for drinks are really good you can play darts and pool
