Food was excellent but the service was poor. The starters and main course all arrived at once which was a bit confusing. The restaurant also is not heated and quite cold which was noticed by everyone in our party.
Popped in for an impromptu lunch and was very pleased. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Service was prompt. A good variety on the menu and quite a few less usual items to choose from. Helpings were good and the food was delicious.
Had an exceptional lunch with the family. Absolutely gorgeous food,well presented and delicious. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and very efficient and friendly staff.
Went for a meal with my friends and ordered the crispy chicken flat bread, when it arrived I could smell fish and I was confused as to why. I cut open the chicken to see if it was cooked. They had served me fish. I do not eat fish and was horrified to see I was served it. Luckily I don’t have an allergy to sea food or it could have been far worse. I told the staff and they got me a “new” one but they had just swapped out the fish for chicken placing it back onto the same flat bread that had fish residue on it meaning some bites tasted fishy! The staff apologised but I was still charged in full, for a meal I couldn’t eat due to the bread tasting like fish. It’s hard to make a ‘fuss’ when you are out with friends but I feel like they should have automatically done a gesture of good will or something. Very disappointed especially as I had recommended we go there for our meal.
Was at Giddy Goose on Friday night as they launched their new menu and it is quite the refresh. Many new dishes, tried the skewered beef and chicken sharing plates both delicious with fantastic dipping sauce. Salt and pepper chicken wings tasty and blackened fish tacos were really good. Super impressed as it’s been a while since I’ve been will be back soon. Well done guys as service was also excellent.
