We dropped by for a meal with the family. Vegetarian options are incredibly limited. Really attentive service. Food wise, the macaroni cheese was tasteless and burning hot, served with cold limp vegetables. The mushroom tagliatelle was overcooked and tasteless. The vegan burger however was decent, and the fish fingers chips and peas was as you'd expect. The chips in both of these meals were lovely and crispy. Puddings were "fine"... As a footnote the plant on the table looked a little in need of love.

We met family here for Brunch on a Saturday morning, we booked in advance for a table of six. No problems with the booking service, really easy. The actually Brunch itself was a little disappointing. I had Eggs Royale which was cold & the sourdough toast it came with was extremely tough & hard to cut, It was tasty though. Two others had pancakes, they both said, very disappointing, cold & soggy! The full English on the other hand, I was told, was very nice. Delicious sausage but again, a little cold. I would go again but perhaps ask for extra hot food & avoid the pancakes. Friendly staff.

Stayed 3 nights over Christmas with bed and breakfast. Very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient staff in a very well appointed and comfortable micro hotel a short stroll from the city centre. Excellent breakfasts and overall exceptional value. Thoroughly recommended.

We came for a roast dinner a few months ago and to say we were disappointed is an understatement. We had often walked past and wanted to try the food, so were really excited for this meal. Service was near non existent, with wrong drink order and a ridiculously long wait on the food. When it did arrive it was basic, with no flavour. We are not particularly fussy people, but it was just so,so bland! We don’t mind paying a higher price for a meal which is worth it, but you build up high expectations when you price a roast dinners at £19 each. This price for what we received is absolutely absurd! No one checked up on and us and asked if we were okay or enjoying it( I would have told them we weren’t). When the bill came we had a service charge added, which I think was a real cheek considering the quality of our dining experience! For the price, there are plenty of other pubs in and around Norwich which charge the same or less for a much better quality dining experience. Neither ourselves or the other couple we went with will return or recommend.

Went here for a big family birthday. There were 12 adults and 2 kids under 7 and the staff were great with us all. The service was good, the food took a bit of time but it was all cooked beautifully. The staff were very timely with taking orders and making sure we all had drinks, and they were also great with the young ones too. The food and drinks were very nice and worth the price. The venue itself was lovely. The car park was quite busy and can struggle to find a parking spot.
